About Toronto

Toronto is the most populous city in Canada and the capital city of the Canadian province of Ontario. With a recorded population of 2,794,356 in 2021, it is the fourth-most populous city in North America. The city is the anchor of the Golden Horseshoe, an urban agglomeration of 9,765,188 people (as of 2021) surrounding the western end of Lake Ontario, while the Greater Toronto Area proper had a 2021 population of 6,712,341. Toronto is an international centre of business, finance, arts, sports and culture, and is recognized as one of the most multicultural and cosmopolitan cities in the world.Indigenous peoples have travelled through and inhabited the Toronto area, located on a broad sloping plateau interspersed with rivers, deep ravines, and urban forest, for more than 10,000 years. After the broadly disputed Toronto Purchase, when the Mississauga surrendered the area to the British Crown, the British established the town of York in 1793 and later designated it as the capital of Upper Canada.

Love this place! I've been to the Bay location and the Federick location, and both have unique items and a calming atmosphere. Their chocolate & orange roll cake was to die for, I remember even purchasing a whole roll cake to go! I have noticed their items are seasonal which is awesome because it highlights Ontario's/Canada's fresh produce such as their peach roll cake. The coffee is light but strong, the cookies are chewy in the middle and have a crunch on the outside, and the lemonade is yum. There aren't many negatives about this place other than sometimes the seasonal/limited-time items sell out quickly so you have to go there well before closing to try their stuff out, and the seating gets filled pretty fast too. However, their customer service at all locations is amazing!

Cute place for a coffee with lots of seating, though it is usually pretty full due to the downtown location. I must add that they have amazing selection for yummy looking bakery items such as gluten-free chocolate banana muffin. I got a latte with oat milk and 2 pumps of vanilla.

Always a great space to enjoy coffee or a treat. Love their blackberry blueberry muffin or the straws shortcake as my go-to treat. This time we got the vanilla cold foam cold brew which was very smooth and great for a hot day. My other go-to drink is an Oat Milk Cortado 👌🏽
